Size & Fit Guide

Size & Fit Guide

Two things decide whether a pair of jeans works: the fit you choose and the size you order. Here’s how to get both right.

Compare the five fits

Fit Seat & thigh Through the leg Best for
Straight-leg Regular Even from hip to hem Everyday wear, boots or trainers
Slim Close Narrow, slight taper below the knee A sharper line without a tight calf
Relaxed Roomier Full leg All-day comfort
Tapered Eased Straight from the knee down A smarter cut that still moves
Stretch Close Slim, with give in the weave Long days on your feet

How to measure

STEP 01

Lay a pair flat

Button up a pair of jeans you already own and lay them flat.

STEP 02

Measure the waist

Measure straight across the waistband, then double it — that is your W size.

STEP 03

Measure the leg

Measure from the crotch seam down the inside leg — that is your L size.

STEP 04

Match the chart

Compare both numbers against the chart below.

Size chart

Size Waist (in) Inside leg (in)
W28 28 30 / 32 / 34
W30 30 30 / 32 / 34
W32 32 30 / 32 / 34
W34 34 30 / 32 / 34
W36 36 30 / 32 / 34
W38 38 30 / 32 / 34
W40 40 30 / 32 / 34

These figures are standard size-conversion references, not brand-measured data.

Sizing questions

What if I’m between sizes?

Go up if you prefer room through the thigh; stay true to size for a closer line.

Do stretch jeans size differently?

Order your usual waist size — the give is in the weave, not the cut.

Will the waist loosen with wear?

Denim relaxes slightly with wear and returns closer to shape after a wash.

How do I exchange a size?

See Shipping & Returns for the exchange process and timeframes.
